The Balti Bread Making Industrial Complex was founded in 1944. It has a rich experience in producing high quality flour of extra, first and second class and cereals.

During the times of the Soviet Union this enterprise was awarded the Honourable Order at the Exposition of Economic Achievements in Moscow in 1970.

The industrial mill for producing three sorts of baking flour and semolina is supplied with highly productive technological equipment. In the set of new equipment there is a sufficient number of pneumatic and electronic devices, means of automation and measure-and-control appliances. New machinery has a number of structural peculiarities and differs from the traditional one and sometimes has no analogy with old kinds of equipment. The introduction of new kinds of equipment and technologies leads to the improvement of the quality of flour and cereals and requires high qualification of the specialists. The average length of service of the employees is 18 years.

Baking flour is being packed in 50 kg sacs and in 2 kg paper bags.

Semolina is sold in 50 kg sacs and in 1 kg paper bags.

Being one of the best enterprises in the field the Balti Bread Making Industrial Complex has been awarded Honourable Diplomas more than once. Its employees have been decorated with gold, silver and bronze medals.

For the high quality baking flour and cereals and for the results of work in 2000 the shareholding company "Produse Cerealiere", Balti, has been awarded the Golden Prize "For Commercial Prestige" - the new Millennium reward established by the Trade Leaders' Club with the membership of 112 countries and by the "World Market" magazine.

In the middle of 2001 the manufacture of pork on industrial technology is mastered. For one year the livestock of pork have increased up to 4-th thousands heads. Meat of pork deep frost II-III of a category under the price $ 1,75 (EXW) of 1 kg nowadays is realized.
